English Garden in the Churchyard: Our Lady of the Rosary

This statue was placed here for the Tommies of STMA (St. Thomas Military Academy) and the College of St. Thomas (located in the city of St. Paul). Today the statue remains and now the campus is that of the University of St. Thomas.  On any given day young students can be often seen here in a moment of silent recollection and prayer.

  1. I recall a pius young seminarian who knelt down before the statue and prayed and prayed and prayed. After about two hours, Msgr. DuLac went to him and kindly lifted him from the snow and concrete and sent him home to dry off. He was a good kid and I hope he went on to be a priest.

    Best, don Jeffry
