Catholic Austria

"Big Al" who with affection was known as the shortest bishop with the tallest mitre.  He was a holy and humble man who used to be seen taking the bus around Rome.

  2. His remains are temporarily buried in the cemetry of the Salesians in the catacomb of San Callisto in Rome but will be translated to his to his deaconry of San Giorgio in Velabro in the foreseeable future.

  3. J.G.,

If that's true hopefully an Extraordinary Form Mass will be celebrated.

I thought it a tragedy this wonderful friend of Tradition had to suffer the ignominy of a Novus Ordo funeral, though it was celebrated by the pope.
