Unfortunately this year the Floral Homage will be without the great Fr. Alfonso Pompei OFM Conv, long time Secretary of the Accademia, who passed away July 14. Fr Pompei never missed a single Feast of the Immaculate looking after the Conventual Franciscan friars who keep vigil every year at the Piazza di Spagna. May he rest in peace! Fr B OFM Conv
