Catholic Culture: Knights in Procession

Always nice to see the knights in procession; especially the papal knights.  A private chamberlain of the sword and cape is a great witness to the youth and others.  And always nice to see the fourth degree Knights of Columbus who have lined our processions back home for years.

Notice the master of ceremonies of the Cardinal Legate with ferraiolone and the Protonotary Apostolics (privileged to wear the purple of the Holy Father's household) on either side of the Papal Legate a latere (Card. Dougherty of the Philadelphia See) seen at the 9th National Eucharistic Congress held in Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1941.

The priest on our far right is Fr. Ziskovsky who later sat in choir at my parents wedding almost thirty years later; may he pray for them.
