Wish to see more of the manteletta..Wasn't it restricted or something by Pope Paul VI? It is a very dignified looking piece of garb. It looks much better than the short, often stubby looking capelike thing they use now. I temporarily forgot thename of it. mozetta??
Certain grades of monsignori are again using it - their bishop turns a blind eye, and there are companies that are again selling them. As a PA, I was given the OK, since I work out of the Nunciature and directly for it. I have only used it for a formal photographing.
