From the Vatican: Yet Another Circumstance of Hallowed Reminiscence

This evening yours truly was in Piazza San Pietro under the light, near the obelisk, with some friends just after 10 p.m.

Suddenly, in an aureola of light, the pope appeared in the window of his library and yours truly pointed and exclaimed: "Look, guys, it's the pope!"

Then, the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, gloriously reigning, waved back to an ebullient us three times. Needless to say, the experience was thrilling, wonderful and even a bit hilarious.

Long may he reign!

  1. That's wonderful but it is SOO Benedict XVI, also!

Do you know that the Dominican friars at the A like to keep him company at night by standing in front of a certain window in the priory and praying for him?
