Majestic photograph before the demolition that occured under his watch. Pope Paul VI is really such a tragic figure.. a brilliant mind and an orthodox pastor of the Church who was tragically unable to confront and defend the Lord's flock from the wolves.. which is ALSO a duty of a Shepherd. He would have served the Church well in any other capacity, but not as Pope.. he was just not up for what the job required, and during a period of time when the stakes could not have been higher. Paulo Sesto, mesto. How sad.
