Funny... Cardinal Tisserant, according to Wikipedia, was made an archbishop after being created cardinal -- so why he is dressed as a bishop? Perhaps this picture was taken during an interregnum. I think that during these cardinals dressed down a colour, though perhaps someone can correct me.
Would be nice to see more prelates today pose for formal portrait in ferraiolo.
