Cardinal Mercier of Belgium.
Very spooky picture this. I looked up his dates. He died in January, 1926 at 74. But in this picture, he looks closer to 90.He was the mentor of...........the future Cardinal Suenens. UGH. I also read that Mercier was an early ecumenist with Protestants.Not a good record.
I suggest that Anonymous reads a little bit more about Cardinal Mercier before drawing ill-informed conclusions.
