Bring Back the Flabelli

Last seen in the sixties thanks to a fit of modernization - would be nice to see them again.


  1. Agreed, at least on the Balcony and next to the Throne when the Pope is seated during liturgical functions. Hidden behind class all the time just re-enforces that rupture the Pope refers to as unnecessary and downright at times, unjust. We should see the Flabellum in the backrounds of some settings at times.

  2. Hidden in the museum at the Lateran , all if that exhibition should be moved to one of the buildings facing st peters

  3. I thought the plural was flabella.
