It's a Girl! / E' una Bambina! / C'est une Fille! / Es ist ein Mädchen!

Meet Anastasia von Sonnen!

Born on the Feast of St. Anastasia of Rome.  

6 pounds, 2 ounces.

Baby and mum are fine and resting well.

We wanted a name from the Roman Canon and got one.

Many thanks to all for the love and support.  

The Lord is kind and merciful.  

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

  18. Anastasia. Such a beautiful name. Our 8 year old just celebrated a birthday two days ago. She's our only one (and thank you, God, for our beautiful gift!), but she gives us so much laughter and wonder and -- frankly -- wisdom each day! I hope you have as many children as you wish, but even one is such a testament to God's great goodness. God bless!
