Rome Quotes

"A family which sings together, plays together, and prays together, usually stays together."

Marie Reine du Canada Pilgrimage in Quebec

North America's Annual Pilgrimage in Quebec

 Dear Pilgrims and Friends,

Just a few days now until Pilgrimage 2015.

This year's theme is "Mystics of Canada," asking the intercession of Blessed Dina Bélanger, Blessed Catherine de Saint Augustin and the Venerable Catherine-Aurélie Caouette.

One pilgrim, who has joined us many times since 2004, is returning this year. But this time it's different. This year he is a newly-ordained priest. Father Jacques Breton, FSSP, was ordained in St.-Hyacinthe in June and is now our Chaplain!

We will meet in Lanoraie on Friday, Sept. 4 around 6 p.m. And we will pray, sing, and walk on 5, 6 and 7 September, arriving at the Cape for the closing Mass at 1:15 on Monday in the small shrine.

Please register using the form on the website. Please also send me an email if you are coming to help us plan the logistics.

Rome Quotes

"I should not like to be too harsh on this commission's labors. It numbered a certain number of genuine scholars and more than one experienced and judicious pastor. Under different circumstances, they might have accomplished excellent work. Unfortunately, on the one hand, a deadly error in judgment placed the official leadership of this committee in the hands of a man who, though generous and brave, was not very knowledgeable: Cardinal Larcaro. He was utterly incapable of resisting the maneuvers of the mealy-mouthed scoundrel that the Neapolitan Vincentian, Annibale, a man as bereft of culture as he was of basic honesty, soon revealed himself to be."

These are nice, actually, made of durable plastic.

Put one in your front or back yard.

Be sure to get it blessed.

The granite colored ones look great.

Beautiful New Chapel in Canada

This lovely daily Mass chapel is located in Maple Ridge, Canada.

It was designed by Fr. Richard Au, a fine and holy priest.   I might add, he has good taste.

The gold appointments are from a firm in Peru.  Imported.  Very nicely done.  It feels like a chapel.

It was a great joy to celebrate the Assumption here on August 15, amid this dedicated community of faithful.

Where Pope St. John Paul II Slept in Vancouver

This is the room, at the end of the hallway.  Would be nice to see the room made into a chapel and even open to visitors on special occasions.
